Learning your ABC’s doesn’t have to be mundane these days with singing the same song over and over. Thanks to many advances in studying how children learn and companies like Fisher Price consistently developing fun to use learning toys, learning can actually take place without your little one even realizing it.

One of the most fun ways for you and your little one to start working on, or improving their ABC’s comes with the Little People A-Z Learning Zoo from Fisher Price. It comes with 27 little people. There are 26 animals, one for each letter of the alphabet, and they have each have a letter on them. Of course, then there is the zoo keeper to take care of all these cute little animals.

They’ll have a blast dancing the animals around the musical mat, which can be put on different settings. One setting will let them hear the sounds each animal makes and do question/answers about them when the corresponding areas on the mat are pressed. The other mode they’ll hear the letter that the animal starts with, and the name of the animal. It will ask your little one to seek out certain letters or animals.

There’s an imaginary waterfall (don’t worry it doesn’t use real water) on one side for the animals to play in, and on the other side is a big rock. They can see a prairie dog poke its head out if they place an animal on the button nearby.

This play set is a tremendously fun way for them to learn their ABC’s. Although, with so many pieces you can bet you’ll be spending as much time picking them up as they do playing with them; it’s worth it though isn’t it! Suggested age for the Little People A-Z Learning Zoo is two to five years old.
