The Little People Busy Day Home is a fascinating way of recreating everyday activities. Your little one is bound to end up spending lots of time imagining and role playing in this busy house that is perfectly sized for a toddler.
The home comes with three adorable little people that they can have running around the house or about the make believe yard; a mom, dad, and a baby. Of course, what family is complete without the household pets? Yep, there’s even a dog which they can make chase the cat by turning the little wheel.
The two story, four room house comes fully equipped and ready to go with a refrigerator door that actually opens, a doorbell that rings through the air, and a toilet they can actually flush! They can rearrange the house as much as they like because the beds, tables, and chairs are all movable. At the end of the day your little one can choose to slide the window for a night time view and sounds before laying the baby down in the little crib.
You’ll find that the wonderful benefits of playtime spent with an interactive house like this are endless, as your little one learns they can control things. They will role play about things they see each day at home, and things their little mind come up with as well. It’s the perfect “doll house” for a little boy because it isn’t colored and designed with pink tones aimed at girls like most of them are! It’s suitable for everyone with its vibrant, primary colors.
When play time is over you aren’t left with a bulky house taking up precious space on your floor. The deck in back easily folds up to store everything nice and tidy, which means great for mom! (Or dad)

Fisher Price ‘Little People’…
I grew with the old style ‘Little people’ , the ones that were just a cylindrical piece of painted wood and later the same in molded colored plastic. I had the Village, the Farm, the Airport and the Castle sets (and many smaller sets with extra people and array of vehicles). I played for years with those toys.
And later Fisher Price had the ‘Adventure people’ (for older children)… All of them fun toys!
I am not sure with the new style of ‘little people’… I don’t thing they have the same appeal as the more simpler version. I think that the detail is to defined and lacks the imagination of the previous originals.
I know toys… And I bet Fisher Price… If they were honest, probably do not sell as many of the sets of the New ‘Little People’ as they did of the original sets of the ‘Little People’.
Maybe I’m wrong… Not.

The youngest kids at our daycare love the Little People. Unfortunately, it’s not the most durable of toys and didn’t last a month. Of course, if you only have one child playing with it (and not 14), your child is sure to get months of enjoyment out of it.
