Elmo is a fictional creature that plays a role since 1984 in Sesame Street. Elmo is a red-haired, friendly and curious monster with an orange nose and a big mouth. It is aimed at children of about three years old (his age). Characteristic of Elmo is that he speaks about himself in the third person. His pet and biggest friend is Dorothy, a goldfish.
From the character Elmo several moving dolls are made by Fisher Price. A popular one is Tickle Me Elmo, which was released in several different versions. Other examples are: Singing Pizza Elmo, Shout Elmo and Elmo.

My daughter loves Barney and ELMO so much!I have also grew up with all the Sesame Street character and glad they are still available in stores here in Phil.

It’s so surreal that Elmo is still around as one of the kids’ favourites. I loved him when I was a child.
